Online Packaging Launches Hinckley Branch

Online Packaging has launched a new operation in Hinckley providing highly efficient packaging solutions to industrial users throughout Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire. The operation is headed by Richard Davison, branch director. 

In his new role, Richard will be responsible for the overall running and development of the Hinckley business.  “It’s very exciting at the moment,” says Richard.  “The region’s vibrant manufacturing and distribution business offers great potential for Online Packaging and our client base is growing every day. I’m meeting with prospective customers, analysing their business and figuring out ways to improve their existing products and streamline their procedures. 

“Online Packaging’s expertise lies in developing full service packaging solutions tailored to customers’ individual requirements. Without packaging, products cannot be delivered, and without products to deliver, business stops.  We understand that what we do is critical to the success of our customers.”

Formerly a regional sales manager with the McFarlane Group, Richard has been in the packaging business for a number of years and knew Chris Hutchens, Online’s founder and managing director. “I had been tracking Online’s success over the years and was approaching that time in my career when I was ready for a change,” explained Richard.  “I wanted to be part of a company like Online Packaging – one that values its employees and customers alike and fosters a real passion for the work they do.  I met with Chris and after a few discussions he proposed the idea of starting up the business in Hinckley.  I leapt at the chance and know we will make our mark in the area.”

“I’m delighted to have Richard driving our Hinckley business.  We have ambitious growth plans in place and with the opportunities in the region I have no doubt we will meet them,” said Chris.

Richard lives in Warwick with his wife whom he married in June 2004.
